About:
We offer a range of pre-employment skills training opportunities to improve your confidence in entering into an interview and succeeding in a workplace setting. These include career exploration and goal setting, resume building, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and job search support. We also provide basic computer and digital literacy training and can support you in obtaining certifications such as CPR and Food Handling to equip you with the qualifications employers are looking for.

Monday to Friday; 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

YSM Evergreen Centre, 365 Spadina Ave.
Eligibility:
A referral by an OW case worker and is required.
Eligible individuals must:
- Be a recipient of Ontario Works (OW)
- 18 +
- Have access to a computer or smart phone
What to expect:
After you are referred by your OW Caseworker, an intake screening will be scheduled with a YSM Employment Counsellor prior to program registration. Once registered, you will be offered a spot in a program cohort. Sessions are scheduled in advance and held in person and online.
