Leah provides leadership to YSM’s relationships with external partners, as well as directing YSM’s Impact Measurement and Community Development initiatives. With over 20 years of experience in poverty alleviation, Leah is inspired and motivated by seeing people progress from surviving to thriving. She has worked to address poverty-related issues both in Canada and internationally, including founding a non-profit to advance education opportunities for disadvantaged children in Tanzania. Prior to joining YSM, she held senior leadership and executive roles within the development sector, and now applies her strong background in results measurement to her work at YSM. Leah holds a BComm in Economics and an MSc in Planning and Development.
